They are separated by a pair of white lines that stretch to the bottom of Ikki's coat before turning sideways and moving around the back of it. Beneath it is a row of six silver buttons parallel to another set on the other side of Ikki's coat. To the pattern's lower right is a silver brooch with a spade engraving. On the left front is a white circle patterned on it with numerous smaller circles within. Around his left sleeve is a black cloth with several silver buckles attached to it. Over Ikki's shirt is a black coat that is predominantly closed, save for its bottom half, where it is also noticeably designed to slant more downward on the front rather than in the back. Around the closed collar is a long, black necktie. He wears a blue-and-black shirt that is vertically striped. Additionally, over his left ear is a hair clip shaped like a black spade, accordingly with Ikki's attributing symbol. His short hair is whiteish light blue, though its right side is notably shoulder-length, unlike its left. The existence of parallel universes makes this task more difficult, requiring the heroine to utilize different methods in each of these universes in order to collect the information she seeks.Ikki is a tall, slender young man with blue eyes. Orion believes they can only separate if the heroine regains her memory, which can only be done by traveling back to her world and making choices that may result in the recollection of her past. The game begins with the heroine losing her memory due to a collision with a spirit named Orion, who obtains a mental attachment to her (resulting in her being the only person able to see or hear him). On PlayStation TV, the mini-games are instead played using a combination of the analog stick and a face button, and on a computer, they're played using the mouse. Any of the five love interests can be chosen as a competitor in these mini-games, though there is a progression in difficulty from left (Shin) to right (Ukyo). Two mini-games that utilize the Vita's touch screen were also added (Rock, Paper, Scissors and Air Hockey). These short stories take place at certain points within the main story, and thus focus on the romance between the protagonist and love interest rather than the plot. In addition to including all five routes present in the original release, Amnesia: Memories adds short stories (appropriately referred to as "Memories") for each character, unlocked after completing their routes.
